Home Planetarium Images Lunar100 Deci

One of the things I love about Astronomy is the fact that you can see all those awesome celestial objects from your backyard.
And even better, you can take images of all those intriguing objects.
Although taking images of deep-sky objects is challenging and very rewarding, my favorite target is the Moon.
I have been taking images of the Moon with cell phones for several years and are very impressed with the evolution of those cameras.
They have become tremendously powerful imaging tools for Lunaphiles.
With images of the Moon 'piling up' in my computer and with a wide variety of lunar targets, it has been a real challenge to figure out how to display them on a website.
I will start with making my own image list of the Lunar 100. This list of the Moon's one hundred most interesting regions was created by Charles A. Wood as an answer to the deep-sky Messier list.
